You can now study Vedic Philosophy at an IIT. Good idea or bad?

For the first time, India’s most prestigious universities and technical institutes will admit students who have never studied in the formal school system.
Under the newly launched Setubandha Scholar Scheme (SSS), candidates trained entirely through informal education — under a guru or within traditional systems of learning — will be able to enter postgraduate and doctoral programmes at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), and Central Universities.
