Why a 20-year-old student’s death has sparked outrage in Odisha

On July 1, a 20-year-old student at a government college in Balasore district created an account on X. The BEd student shared a photo of a complaint she had submitted to the college’s internal complaints committee against sexual harassment.
She also uploaded a picture of a committee meeting she attended and where her complaint was heard. Alongside, she posted a picture of the teacher she had accused of harassment.
