Delhi police are on their toes following the entry of a third syndicate into the city’s mafiadom. The Bambihas are not only arch-rivals of the Bishnois, but they have close contacts with Khalistani separatists in Canada as well

Delhi police have arrested two persons in connection with a recent shooting incident at a city businessman’s residence. They claim the Bambiha syndicate had demanded ₹10 crore as “protection money” from the businessman and fired around eight rounds at his house on October 26 to scare him into paying.

The extortion demand came from a California-based gangster who works for the Bambiha group, say cops.
