In 1968, two entrepreneurs started TCS and Lupin. In the same year, Nobel laureate Gunnar Myrdal wrote Asian Drama, 2,200-pages+ tome that defended India’s five-year plans, supported industrial licensing, and advocated capital allocation based on input-output tables created by PhDs.
