Last week, as oil companies went in for a jet fuel price hike as part of their monthly rate revision, SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh was one of the first to issue a statement thanking the government for not doubling the prices.
“The government has, time and again, demonstrated strong and reassuring leadership, steering Indian aviation through global headwinds with clarity and resolve,” Singh said. “This decision once again reinforces that commitment.”
