Sarbajit studied English Literature at Calcutta University but preferred to work in two areas – Comics and filmmaking. He made comic strips and cartoons for some leading dailies in the city for nearly two decades.His works have been exhibited at the BARBICAN, London in their global exhibition MANGASIA, Following the Box in Kolkata, Delhi and Chicago and Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan. He contributed to Drighanchoo (JU), This Side That Side – a partition anthology, Janakantha (Dhaka), China Daily and many others.
'Carbon Chronicles' is his work on climate politics.
He is a guest faculty with NID, Ahmedabad and SRFTI.
