Farah Ghuznavi is a writer, translator and development worker, who started telling stories to get them out of her head. Her work has appeared in the USA, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Nigeria, Singapore, Nepal, India and her native Bangladesh. Her first book is 'Fragments of Riversong' (Daily Star Books) and she is currently working on her second. She also edited 'Lifelines', an anthology of writing from Bangladesh (Zubaan Books). Farah has been Writer in Residence with Commonwealth Writers, and contributed to the BBC series The Essay.
