Uefa Champions League final: Will Man City finally get their hands on the prize, or can underdogs Inter be architects of another ‘miracle in Istanbul’?

Two down, one to go! That is Manchester City’s situation as they head into Saturday’s Uefa Champions League final against Serie A giants Inter Milan. Should Guardiola’s side come out on top in Istanbul, as they are being heavily fancied to, it would not just see Man City finally put their name on European club football’s biggest prize, it would also make them only the second English club to complete the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League titles.The first to achieve it were Manchester United, as long ago as 1999. The Red Devils did have the opportunity to ensure they remained the only English treble-winning club but came up short against their neighbours in last weekend’s FA Cup final at Wembley. But Seagraves believes the Spanish manager has learnt from past mistakes and deserves due credit for making Man City a more complete team with the expensive acquisition of Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.
