Until five years ago, Manisha Gaonkar’s days revolved around caring for her children and home in the remote hamlet of Taldem near Balcornem, Dharbandora. Today, she is part of Goa’s hospitality industry, cooking, maintaining rooms and assisting guests from across India at the Jungle Trails Homestay.
