Ways to find lost Android or iOS phone on silent phone
For Android users
If you have an Android device, you can use Google Device Manager to locate your phone. Furthermore, here are the steps you can follow:
- Access from another device: Use a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet to log into your Google account.
- Visit Google Device Manager: Go to android.com/devicemanager and log into your Gmail account.
- Select the ring option: Choose the "Ring" option. This will send a specific signal to your phone, bypassing silent mode and causing it to ring at full volume.
For iOS users
For iOS devices, the process is similar using iCloud. Follow the steps below:
- Access from another iOS device: Use another iOS device or a computer to log into your iCloud account.
- Use the Find My iPhone feature: Go to iCloud.com and select the "Find My iPhone" function.
- Set the sound: Choose the option to play a sound on your phone. This will make your phone ring loudly, making it easier to locate.
