Twitch is reinforcing safety measures following past concerns, aiming for a secure and memorable experience.

TwitchCon, the biggest annual convention for Twitch creators, streamers, and their fans, will take place this week from October 17-19 in San Diego, California. The event, launched in 2015, brings together creators, influencers, and audiences for three days of panels, performances, meet-and-greets, and behind-the-scenes conversations about streaming. The convention allows fans to meet their favorite creators and learn everything from shaping a stream's story to the technical aspects of broadcasting. The event will be held at the San Diego Convention Center. Attendees and fans can follow TwitchCon’s social media accounts on Instagram and X for updates throughout the convention.A three-day pass is priced at $249, while single-day tickets are available for $159 or $169, depending on the day. Additional charges apply for the TwitchCon Block Party and the Family Bundle.

TwitchCon 2025 event: What to expect

TwitchCon 2025 will feature hundreds of streamers, including bbno$, Ludwig, emiru, fuslie, TheSushiDragon, Trixie Mattel, Pearl Teese, Jessu, KreekCraft, Maya, Sajam, and many others. The event’s programs are divided into 15 sections, such as Glitch Stage, Twitch Rivals, Creator Camp, Community MeetUp, Expo Hall, and more. Panels will explore topics like moderating chats, storytelling, partnerships, monetization, and networking, alongside hands-on workshops and entertainment on the expo floor.
Twitch describes the event as a mix of “showdowns, live streams, meetups, panels, and unforgettable moments.” However, the convention has faced criticism in past years over safety concerns, including harassment incidents in 2024 and an injury in 2022. Addressing this, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy emphasized that the company continues to strengthen its safety and security measures each year to adapt to new challenges.
