TCS opens sixth Google Cloud Gemini Experience Centre in São Paulo; to support AI adoption in Latin America
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened a new Google Cloud Gemini Experience centre (GEC) in São Paulo. The centre is TCS’ 6th Gemini Experience Center globally. So far, TCS has launched five GECs in Bengaluru, New York, Chennai, Riyadh and Singapore. TCS’s new GEC is located in the TCS’ innovation hub within Insper University. The company says the GEC is designed as a dedicated innovation space to help enterprises in Latin America rapidly prototype and scale business solutions with Generative, Predictive and Agentic AI. It aims to bring together TCS’ deep domain knowledge and contextual industry expertise along with Google Cloud’s suite of innovative technologies.
The new centre is part of Tata Consultancy Services’ global expansion of its Google Experience Centers (GECs). These centres are part of the TCS Pace and innovation network, which brings together startups, academic institutions and customers to work on emerging technologies.
TCS has also expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to integrate Gemini Enterprise for customers. The company said the initiative is aimed at improving efficiency and supporting innovation. The move is expected to help enterprises in Latin America access Gemini-powered solutions through TCS-led programs.
The newly launched GEC will allow organisations in Latin America to create dedicated sandbox environments using Gemini 3. Customers can design, test and scale solutions on Google Cloud’s AI-focused infrastructure, supported by TCS-certified professionals. The company said this will help ensure secure and responsible deployment of AI solutions.
The centre will also support services such as data modernisation and full migration to Google Cloud. According to TCS, clients will be able to integrate AI tools into existing workflows to build scalable cloud systems and reduce deployment timelines.
Industries including banking and financial services, retail, manufacturing, transportation and healthcare in Latin America will be able to use the centre to assess how AI can be applied to core business operations. The focus areas include improving product development cycles, supply chain processes and customer engagement.
Javier Carrique, Director, Partner Ecosystem & Channels, Google Cloud in Latin America, said “The opening of this space in Sao Paulo offers our customers the chance to know more about our partnership with TCS, leveraging our technology, their specialized industry knowledge and how together we can positively impact their businesses. The collaboration with TCS creates new opportunities for organizations across the region to harness the power of Google Gemini and generative AI in a responsible and scalable way.”
