PhonePe has announced the rollout of its new AI-powered integration layer for merchants, designed to dramatically reduce the time it takes to go live with its payment gateway. Traditionally, developers spend days navigating documentation and debugging code. With this new AI Integration Agent, merchants can now complete the process in minutes through a conversational interface. The innovation is powered by PhonePe’s proprietary Integration Intelligence layer, which ensures the agent doesn’t just generate code but understands the nuances of payments.
According to PhonePe, the new system offers three major benefits:
