Black Friday sale is not only about heavy discounts on electronic items like smartphones, laptops, home appliances and more; Nearly every major streamer in the US is offering streaming deals that will significantly slash your monthly/ yearly bills. Following a year of price hikes across the entertainment industry, consumers can now get relief as major platforms, including HBO Max, Apple TV+, Disney+ and Hulu, among others, have announced subscription deals for Black Friday 2025. Among the biggest deals offered by streaming giants is HBO’s offer. HBO Max has slashed price by around 70% in its most generous Black Friday offer yet, surpassing its promotions from 2023 and 2024. “Save 70% on the Basic With Ads plan. Enjoy 12 months of unlimited access to HBO, the DC Universe, and Harry Potter, plus must-see series and movies — for less,” the website says.According to the deal, new and returning subscribers can sign up for the HBO Max Basic with ads plan for just $2.99 per month for 12 months. This means that the total annual cost is $35.88, translating to savings of approximately 73% off the current price, which recently rose to $10.99/month.According to a report by Mashable, those looking for maximum content variety and savings, they can get Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) bundled together for $4.99 per month for 12 months. This essentially represents an $8 per month discount from the usual $12.99 monthly price, saving users $96 over the course of the year.Apple TV+ has also entered the fray, offering a discount following its recent 30% price increase (from $9.99 to $12.99 per month). The subscription price is now down to $5.99 per month for six months. This means that instead of paying full amount for a year, users can get half a year of access to an all-original lineup, including hits like The Studio, Severance, and Killers of the Flower Moon.For those who already have a Walmart+ membership, they can unlock free access to either Peacock or Paramount+ for one year. What sweetens the deal is that if you want Walmart+ membership, it is currently 50% off for Black Friday.
