The e-commerce giant has announced that its annual Republic Day sale is set to go live on January 17, promising discounts and card offers across smartphones, electronics and home appliances, among others. Flipkart’s first major shopping event of the year comes as India prepares to celebrate its 77th Republic Day. For those looking to beat the rush, Flipkart has also introduced several “Early Bird” initiatives, including pre-sale passes and tasks to help shoppers maximise their savings before the main event kicks off. “With upcoming Republic Day deals and value-packed moments across categories, the Flipkart Republic Day sale is going to be an extraordinary start to your savings journey in this new year. Flipkart Republic Day Sale: Start date and early access details

While the general public can start shopping on January 17, some loyal customers will get a head start. For those who have Flipkart Plus and Black membership will receive 24-hour early access, which means that they can start shopping products and avail discount as well as offers as the sale will open for them at midnight on January 16.

Sneak Peeks Early Bird Sale ahead of Flipkart Republic Day Sale

Flipkart has also launched “Sneak Peeks”. For a fee of Rs 100, shoppers can unlock a Rs 1,000 discount voucher on specific categories, ensuring guaranteed savings once the sale officially begins.

Flipkart Republic Day Sale bank offers

To make items more affordable, Flipkart has partnered with major financial institutions for instant hardware discounts:

HDFC Bank: Credit cardholders are eligible for a 10% instant discount on purchase of smartphones, electronics and large appliances.
Bajaj Finserv: Insta EMI cardholders can avail of an additional discount of up to Rs 400.
Supercoins: Users can currently earn Supercoins by completing interactive tasks on the app, which can be redeemed for further price cuts during the sale.
