India has launched , a first-of-its-kind AI-powered campaign in collaboration with
Google that allows consumers to create personalised Diwali avatars using the Gemini app's advanced image generation technology.
The initiative, available through QR codes on Coca-Cola's limited-edition Utsav Packs, enables users to design custom digital stickers by selecting festive personas and classic Diwali icons. Google Gemini's AI merges these choices to create unique, shareable greetings that users can download and distribute with the hashtag #MyFesticon.
"Coca-Cola has always been at the heart of India's celebrations, and this Diwali we are delighted to offer people a new, creative way to express themselves," said Karthik Subramanian, Senior Director of Marketing for the Coca-Cola Category. "This initiative, powered by Google Gemini, weaves in AI, art and culture, reinforcing Coca-Cola's belief that when people come together, they create lasting memories."
The campaign builds on Coca-Cola's previous generative AI success with "Diwali Wali Magic," which partnered with DALL-E to let consumers design personalised festive cards. Festicons advances this concept through real-time, interactive co-creation capabilities.
The Festicons experience is currently available to consumers who purchase specially marked Coca-Cola Utsav Packs during the Diwali season.
