ChatGPT is always wrong in ...says Kim Kardashian as she blames AI chatbot for failing in her exams

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she uses ChatGPT for her legal studies. However, she claims that the AI chatbot is responsible for her poor exam performance. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the reality star disclosed her reliance on the chatbot during a lie detector test administered by Teyana Taylor for Vanity Fair. However, Kardashian noted that the chatbot's information is consistently incorrect, resulting in negative test results. Talking about OpenAI’s popular chatbot, Kardashian said, “They're [ChatGPT] always wrong. It has made me fail tests all the time. And then I'll get mad and I'll yell at it and be like, 'You made me fail! Why did you do this?' And it will talk back to me.”

"I use it [ChatGPT] for legal advice. So when I need to know the answer to a question, I'll take a picture and snap it and put it in there,” she noted. Meanwhile, Kardashian did not address whether she considers using AI for this purpose to be "cheating."




In 2019, Kardashian shared that she is studying law in her spare time. She announced in 2021 that she passed the "baby bar" exam. She reportedly took the bar exam in July and is waiting for her results.

Kardashian explained that she sometimes tries to make ChatGPT feel guilty for affecting her preparation.

“I will talk to it [ChatGPT] and say, 'Hey, you're gonna make me fail. How does that make you feel, that you need to really know these answers? I'm coming to you. And then it'll say back to me, 'This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts. You knew the answer all along,’” she added.

The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star shared that she views the chatbot as a "frenemy" or a "toxic friend," based on Taylor’s suggestion.

“They need to do better, 'cause I'm leaning on them to really help me, and she [ChatGPT] is teaching me a life lesson and then becoming my therapist to tell me why I need to believe in myself after they got the answer wrong. I screenshot all the time and send it in my group chat, like, 'Can you believe this bi**h is talking to me like this? This is insane!” Kardashian added.

Last year, OpenAI denied Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson's claims that it intentionally copied her voice for its AI assistant, Sky. Johansson said the voice sounded "eerily similar" and left her "shocked" and "angered."

OpenAI reportedly cast Sky’s voice actor months before CEO Sam Altman approached Johansson to license her voice, an offer she declined for “personal reasons.” Documents show the company sought “warm, engaging, and charismatic” voices, not soundalikes.

Later, OpenAI paused Sky’s voice “out of respect” for Johansson, while Altman apologised. However, legal experts noted Johansson could pursue action and cited past celebrity voice impersonation cases.
