iMessage issue resolved now: Apple

Although the Apple service status page did not show any indication of the texting problem, it has now been updated saying that the issue has been resolved. “Users were unable to use this service” for iMessage, Apple Messages for Business, FaceTime, and HomeKit, it says. According to it, the iPhone users faced the issue from about 5:39pm ET until 6:35pm ET.

In other news, iPhone users are facing a bug in their photo library that is showing deleted photos from years ago.
