Vivo X200T quick review: 5 things to know about Vivo’s flagship-grade phone
Vivo X200T is now available for purchase in India and comes as an upgraded version of last year’s X200 smartphone. We used the phone for a week and in these days, we tested how the phone is different from its flagship sibling as well as X200FE, which delivered flagship-grade features at a more accessible price point. It offered reliable performance, long battery life and advanced camera capabilities, all packed into a compact design. But does the ‘T’ version has what it takes to sway customers? Let's find out.

A familiar, premium design
At first glance, the X200T seems to be a mirror image of the standard X200 and the high-end X300. It features the signature large circular camera module with Zeiss branding. The standout feature of this specific model is the Seaside Lilac colour option which we got for review. It’s a different take from pink and purple colours, sitting in between and offering a soothing shade.
High performance under the hood
Under the hood, the X200T packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which is optimised version of the standard 9400. According to the company, this version offers superior clock speeds designed to handle intensive multitasking and high-end gaming. In our initial use, the UI felt snappy, flowy and seamless.
High-clarity display but…
The X200T sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. However, X200T gets an LTPS display in comparison to LTPO on X200. This means the screen cannot scale its refresh rate down as dynamically, which may lead to slightly higher power consumption.
Vivo continues its partnership with Zeiss, offering a versatile triple-camera setup. There’s 50MP Sony LYT702 with OIS primary camera, 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera and a 50MP Sony LYT600 (3x Optical Zoom) telephoto shooter.
Massive 6,200mAh battery and long-term software support
The Vivo X200T comes with a 6,200mAh battery, which is paired with 90W wired FlashCharge and 50W wireless charging. Vivo is promising five major OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
