Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ with improved AI features, 50MP triple rear camera launched

Samsung Galaxy S25 series is here. Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship Galaxy S series of smartphones — Galaxy S25 – at an event in San Jose, US. The smartphone series comprises three smartphones — Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. All the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run Android 15 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ price and availability

Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will be available in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icyblue and Mint colour options. Samsung Galaxy S25 comes with a starting price of $799, while the Galaxy S25+ carries a price tag of $999 (base model). The phones are available for pre-orders and will go on sale starting February 7.

Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite 8 chipset. The duo runs Android 15 operating system topped with the company's own layer of One UI 7 on top.

Samsung Galaxy S25 houses a 6.2-inch FHD+ display, while the Samsung Galaxy S25+ features a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen. The dynamic AMOLED display on both the smartphones offer up to 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive colour tone.

Samsung Galaxy S25 comes in three variants — 12GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ comes in two versions — 12GB+512GB and 12GB+256GB.

Both the smartphones come with IP68 rating which makes them resistant to water and dust. The duo comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup which consists of 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom and 12MP ultra wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. Front is home to a 12MP selfie camera which comes with f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S25 houses a 4,000 mAh battery which comes with 25W fast charging support. The smartphone also supports wireless charging and wireless PowerShare feature. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25+ is backed by a 4,900 mAh battery and it comes with 45W fast charging support and it also offers wireless charging and PowerShare functionality.

Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphone series is said to be designed to offer improved AI experience. Samsung Galaxy S25's AI agents, equipped with multimodal capabilities, can interpret text, speech, images, and videos for interactions that feel natural and seamless.
