Realme 14x 5G to launch in India soon; design and colours teased
Realme has confirmed the launch of the upcoming Realme 14x 5G smartphone in India. In a post shared on social media platform X, the Chinese smartphone maker has also teased the design and colour options of the upcoming affordable models. The Realme 14x 5G smartphones will succeed the Realme 12x 5G which were launched earlier this year. While the exact launch date is still unknown, teaser images and videos shared on social media reveal the phone's rear design and colour options.
The company has confirmed that the Realme 14X smartphones will be available on its online store as well as e-commerce platform Flipkart. The X post includes links to the dedicated microsites of the phone that were created on both the company’s website and Flipkart. The upcoming smartphone will be available in black, gold, and red colours. However, the company didn’t reveal the specific marketing names of these colour options.
The teaser videos and posters also show that the Realme 14x 5G will feature a rectangular rear camera module that will house three vertically arranged sensors along with an LED flash strip. This setup marks an upgrade from the Realme 12x’s dual rear camera configuration, which included a 50MP primary sensor.
According to the latest rumours, the Realme 14x 5G is set to launch in the country on December 18. This smartphone is expected to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen and may become available in three storage configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 256GB.
The smartphone is also rumoured to include a 6,000mAh battery and an IP69-rated design for dust and water resistance.
The Realme 14x 5G is also likely to offer multiple other significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Realme 12x 5G, which debuted in April this year with a starting price of Rs 11,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
