Apple iPhone 17 Pro’s alleged camera design leak online: Here’s what it may look like

Apple is expected to unveil its next-generation iPhones in September this year. This year iPhone series may consist of four models – iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and all-new iPhone 17 Air. Ahead of the launch, alleged images of the iPhone 17 Pro showcasing camera design have leaked online. Shared by Chinese tipster Majin Bu, the images show Black colour variant of the phone featuring a camera island placed on the top right. It can be seen housing three camera sensors, along with the LED light. Take a look at the alleged photos of iPhone 17 ProIn terms of design, Apple iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to undergo a noticeable revamp, with a new half-glass, half-aluminum rear casing that enhances durability while supporting wireless charging. The camera module may also shift to a horizontal, rectangular layout — a significant change from the traditional square bump — to accommodate three lenses and LiDAR, though exact configurations remain uncertain.The display is expected to retain its 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch sizes for the Pro and Pro Max respectively, but all iPhone 17 Pro could finally get 120Hz ProMotion panels. The Pro versions may also feature 12GB of RAM, improved thermal management with vapor chamber cooling, and the new A19 Pro chip built on an advanced 3nm process for better performance and efficiency.Camera upgrades expected on iPhone 17 Pro may include a new 48MP telephoto lens (up from 12MP), 8K video recording, and a rumored mechanical aperture on the Wide lens for better control over depth and light. The front-facing camera is also expected to be bumped to 24MP. Reverse wireless charging, a possible shift to a new sky-blue color, and faster Wi-Fi 7 support are also on the cards.Despite these changes, no screen size or Dynamic Island shrinkage is confirmed, and Apple may scrap plans for a more scratch-resistant display coating. Pricing could see an increase to reflect the added hardware and design upgrades. Apple iPhone 17 Pro will run on iOS 26.
