With an ABHA ID (Ayushman Bharat Health Account), all your medical records are stored securely in one digital vault, accessible anytime, anywhere. Create a 14-digit digital health identity that links your medical history across hospitals, labs, and clinics. This makes consultations smoother, reduces paperwork, and ensures continuity of care.

Here’s how to digitise your medical records with Abha ID

1. li1Visit the portal: Go to www.healthid.ndhm.gov.in (healthid.ndhm.gov.in in Bing) and select “Generate via Aadhaar.”
2. li1Authenticate: Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
3. li1Create your ABHA Address: Choose a unique handle (e.g., name@abdm).
4. li1Download your ABHA Card: This is your digital health identity.
5. li1Link your records: Connect lab reports, prescriptions, and hospital files via participating health apps like Aarogya Setu or Eka Care.

Your health data is private. Doctors or hospitals can only view your records if you provide explicit OTP-based consent. This ensures you stay in control of who accesses your information.
