What to do
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) offers a quick missed-call service that lets you check your FASTag wallet balance in seconds. No app downloads, no waiting — just a call and an SMS update.
Steps to follow
- Dial +91 8884333331 from your registered mobile number (the one linked to your FASTag).
- The call will disconnect automatically after a few rings.
- You’ll receive an SMS showing the current balance of all FASTags linked to that mobile number.
- If the balance is low, open your UPI app and top up instantly by scanning the tag’s QR code.
Important note
- This service works primarily for NHAI-issued FASTags.
- If your FASTag is issued by a bank (like HDFC, ICICI, SBI, etc.), you may need to use that bank’s app or portal to check and recharge.
