Sony announces PlayStation Plus monthly games for September: Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder available for free

Sony has announced PlayStation Plus monthly games for September 2025. For the month of September, three new games are coming to PS4 and PS5 users. These include – Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder. As announced by the company, all three games are available from September 2, 2025 for free. Psychonauts 2: Available for PS4

Razputin “Raz” Aquato, a young psychic and skilled acrobat, finally achieves his dream of joining the Psychonauts — an international group of psychic secret agents. But the organization is in crisis: its leader is struggling after a kidnapping, and a mole may be hiding inside its headquarters.


Psychonauts 2, the sequel to the cult-hit game, blends platforming and adventure with a cinematic style. Players take on quirky missions, uncover conspiracies, and use a variety of psychic powers that can be customized. The game follows Raz as he explores the minds of allies and enemies, battling a dangerous psychic villain while mixing suspense, action, and humor.

Stardew Valley: Available for PS4

In Stardew Valley, players take over their grandfather’s old farm plot with only a few tools and coins to start a new life. The challenge is to clear the overgrown land, grow crops, and build a thriving home while learning to live off the land.


The game also highlights the struggles of a small town changed by the arrival of the Joja Corporation, which has replaced many of the community’s traditions. The once-bustling community center now stands abandoned.
