GTA Online has rolled out a new combat-focused Adversary Mode called Mansion Raid. This mode will give players a new combat-based experience with 2X GTA$ and RP available during its launch week. Set in one of Los Santos’ high-end neighbourhoods, the mode allows players to either infiltrate a luxury mansion using heavy weapons and explosives to reach a basement vault containing gold or take on the role of defenders trying to stop the attackers.
In addition to Mansion Raid, the weekly update includes several in-game bonuses, such as doubled daily income for nightclubs and 4X GTA$, RP, and nightclub goods from business battles, offering players more opportunities to earn rewards across GTA Online.
GTA Online Mansion Raid combat mode: Here’s how it works
In Mansion Raid, players must first enter the grounds of the mansion and plant explosives to disable the security systems. While charging in with guns blazing is an option, it is better to move from cover to cover to reach the bomb sites. The defenders must quickly disable the explosives planted by the other team, as they can shoot on sight. Each successful charge adds 30 seconds to the timer, making timing an essential factor.
Once the security systems are disabled, players must head down to the vault at the lowest level of the mansion. Knowing the building's layout can be helpful, especially since the defending team is familiar with the corridors. Close-range combat is standard here, so players need to check corners and clear rooms quickly, as time is limited.
After securing the gold from the vault, the focus shifts to escaping. Players must rush back through the mansion while defences are still down, work with teammates to fight their way out, or, if defending, stop attackers who are trying to find an exit.
Mansion Raid is offering double rewards throughout the week. Players who win a round will also receive an extra GTA$200,000 bonus within 72 hours.
GTA Online other weekly bonuses: Double nightclub income, 4X business Battles and More
GTA Online players can earn more money this week with doubled daily income from nightclubs. By keeping the club popular and the warehouse stocked with a variety of nightclub goods, players can increase their earnings through January 21. Those who do not own a nightclub yet can buy one at a 40% discount, along with upgrades and modifications at the same reduced price.
Players can also boost their income by taking part in business battles across Los Santos. These events offer 4X GTA$, RP, and Nightclub Goods throughout the week. Completing one business battle will also grant an extra GTA$100,000 as part of the weekly challenge.
Additional bonuses are available through G’s Cache, where players can locate a daily hidden drop marked on the map and earn 2X GTA$ and RP after fighting off enemies. The Community Race Series is also offering double rewards, with player-made tracks available for racers looking to earn 2X GTA$ and RP.
The update also includes several vehicle discounts, with 30% off models such as the Cheval Taipan, Declasse Vigero ZX, Obey Omnis e-GT, Rhino Tank, and more. The Gun Van is offering discounts on select weapons, including the Railgun and Stun Gun, as well as other rotating items.
GTA+ members can claim the Pfister Astrale and receive the matching Pfister Chore Jacket. They also get access to 2X rewards on Auto Shop Robberies and Client Jobs, bonuses on Operation Paper Trail missions, new Chameleon Paints, and additional perks throughout the week.
