Samsung launches latest range of Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners

Samsung has launched its latest range of Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners. The new range is claimed to combine intelligent cooling with significant energy savings. Samsung’s BeSpoke AI WindFree ACs come equipped with AI Energy Mode – “a transformative feature designed to analyze real-time usage patterns, ambient conditions, and user preferences to deliver optimal cooling while minimising energy consumption,” as the company claims.

The AI Energy mode comes integrated into the SmartThings app. With AI inverter control and high efficiency compressor, the ACs are claimed to help save up to 30% energy. It monitors the AC’s performance, diagnoses inefficiencies, and sends notifications when energy consumption exceeds.

The ecosystem further elevates the user experience by providing detailed reports on energy usage across hourly, daily, and monthly periods. Users can also set energy billing cycles, input custom cost parameters, and track savings effortlessly.

Other features available on the Samsung’s Bespoke AI WindFree ACs include low-noise operation, advanced air purification, and SmartThings connectivity.

In another news, Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore (SRI-B) recently inaugurated the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) at Karnataka’s first all-women’s engineering college, Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha (GSSS) Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore.

Samsung’s SIC programme was launched in September 2022. It comprises an extensive curriculum focused on core technology skills including artificial intelligence/machine learning, big data, and coding & programming. In 2024, Samsung Southwest Asia expanded its SIC reach by enrolling 3,500 students, up from 3,000 in 2023.

The students enrolled in this initiative will get an opportunity to undergo expert offline and online training at a classroom facility, and work on innovative projects under the guidance of mentors from SRI-B and GSSS Institute.
