LG launches AI-powered washing machine range in India

LG Electronics has expanded its product lineup with the launch of new washing machines featuring AI DD 2.0 technology, blending advanced artificial intelligence with premium design to deliver smarter, more efficient laundry care. The new range includes 10 models across Front Load, Top Load, and Washer Dryer categories, designed to simplify household routines with intelligent fabric detection, enhanced hygiene, and energy efficiency.

The AI DD 2.0 washing machines will be available in multiple SKUs ranging from 11 kg to 20 kg capacities, offered in premium colors. They will be sold across major online platforms, offline retail outlets, and LG Brand Stores, with cashback and finance offers.

Smarter Fabric Care

The company claims that the washing machines have the ability to detect fabric type, weight, and soil level with precision, automatically selecting the optimal wash cycle from thousands of combinations.

All models integrate with LG ThinQ Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling remote operation and monitoring via smartphone. Premium design elements include Digital Dial LCD controls, flat tempered glass doors with chrome finish, and IPX4 water-resistant panels for durability.
