YU launches ‘Project Highway’ source code management system

CEO also put an end to the rumours and reports regarding the company’s exclusive partnership with Cyanogen. He confirmed that the exclusive deal between YU Televentures and Cyanogen Inc has ended. Sharma also said that Cyanogen OS failed to get any traction with YU smartphones as it came with its share of bugs. Sharma further clarified that the company will still be supporting its existing Cyanogen OS-based YU smartphones and will be pushing out future updates to the devices as well.Although the YU Televentures CEO did not confirm it, this strongly suggests that the upcoming smartphones by the company might run on stock Android OS.
