Vodafone rolls out 4G sim pre-booking, free data and roaming benefits in Haryana

NEW DELHI: Country’s leading telecom operator Vodafone India is all set to bring its 4G services to the North Indian state of Haryana. The company will soon officially announce 4G rollout in the state and customers can pre-book their 4G sim cards from August 1 to August 23.

The telco also revealed that Vodafone subscribers who pre-book the 4G sim will get free 1GB of 4G data, valid for a period of 10 days from the date of activation. Users can avail this by texting ‘Go 4G’ to 199.


Customers can walk into any of the nearby 250 Vodafone brand Stores and over 5,000 multi-brand outlets across Haryana to get their 4G sim cards free of cost. With a new 4G sim, they can continue to enjoy uninterrupted mobile internet as per their existing plans and will be automatically upgraded to 4G as soon as the services are launched commercially.

Needless to say, users should have a 4G-enabled device and an active Vodafone 3G pack as of August 24.

Additionally, Vodafone 4G customers in Haryana will be able to experience 4G connectivity while roaming across all existing Vodafone 4G circles in India - Mumbai, Delhi & NCR, Kerala, Karnataka and Kolkata. Vodafone is also in the process of taking its 4G network to UP East, Gujarat and other circles.
