Videocon Telecom 2G data consumption grows 43% in 2015

Mobile operator Videocon Telecom has said that it registered over three-fold jump in consumption of 2G mobile internet on its network compared to industry growth rate of 12% in 2015.

"Videocon Group reported an impressive 43% growth in mobile data consumption in year 2015. I am delighted with the results and the fact that we have been able to surpass the industry trends," Videocon Telecom director and CEO Arvind Bali said in a statement.

As per the Nokia Mbit Index 2016, 2G mobile data consumption grew by 12% in 2015 compared to a year ago period.
