Syntel among Forrester's most significant mobile enterprise app services providers

Syntel, Inc., a global provider of digital transformation, information technology and knowledge process services to Global 2000 companies, on Wednesday announced that Forrester Research, Inc. has cited the company's mobile solutions in a recent report.

PUNE: Syntel, Inc., a global provider of digital transformation, information technology and knowledge process services to Global 2000 companies, on Wednesday announced that Forrester Research, Inc. has cited the company's mobile solutions in a recent report.
The Forrester Research report "The Forrester Wave: Mobile Enterprise App Services Providers — Midsize Providers, Q1 2015" has named Syntel among the nine most significant midsize mobile enterprise app services providers, the company said.

Forrester Research is one of the most influential research and advisory firms in the world.
According to the report, "Mobile moments in the enterprise — with employees and business partners — have the power to make or break your customer experience. But, these mobile enterprise moments represent uncharted territory for most firms, and these firms are turning to third-party services partners for help."
The research report goes on to state that many enterprise clients, "want to work with an ecosystem of smaller, more nimble, and specialized partners to address their mobile enterprise apps projects."
Forrester Research acknowledged Syntel's mobile business-to-employee (B2E) solutions saying "[Syntel] is strongest at technical elements necessary for B2E mobile projects — including application development, integration, and apps modernization work," the company said.
According to Syntel Chief Executive Officer and President, Nitin Rakesh, "Our enterprise mobility solutions are tailored to deliver real business value and outstanding functionality to keep today's executives informed and in command, wherever their business takes them."
