Samsung to launch Tizen smartphone Z2 in India on August 11 with Reliance Jio offer
NEW DELHI:Samsung is reportedly all set to launch its third Tizen-powered smartphone in India, with the country being the global launch pad for the device. Likely to be called Samsung Z2, the smartphone runs on the company's own operating system
According to a report in Sammobile, Samsung Tizen Z2 will launch on August 11. The phone is expected to sport a price tag of Rs 4,499.

The device is expected to feature a 4-inch AMOLED display and 4G VoLTE support. It is said to offer 1GB of RAM, My Money Transfer app and the company's S Bike Mode feature.
The Samsung Z2 is likely to go on sale in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya in the first phase.
Last month, Reliance rolled out its Jio Preview offer for select Samsung smartphones. The offer allows users to avail unlimited voice, video, data and SMS for three months from the day of the activation of the Jio SIM. Reliance is offering the Jio SIM for free.
The offer is valid only for on 4G-enabled Samsung smartphones and includes devices like the flagships
To avail the offer, users will have to download the MyJio app. The offer is non-transferable. Users have the option to continue with the Jio commercial tariff plan once the validity expires.
Samsung launched its first smartphone running Tizen OS, Samsung Z1, in January 2015. The company launched the second Tizen smartphone, Samsung Z3, in October 2015.
