Samsung is all set to launch a new smartphone on March 31. The company is promoting a motorcycle-themed contest on its Twitter and Facebook pages with hashtag #TapKickVroom and catch line "will change the way you ride."
The contest ends at 6PM on March 30 2016. The participants have to guess what is 'TapKickVroom' and send their answers in the comments section of the posts/tweets on
Samsung Mobile India Facebook & Twitter handles.
There will be three winners who will take home Samsung's "newly launched smartphone" as prize.
The company has revealed no details about the smartphone but from the looks it appears to be targeted at bikers and a part of the company's J-series. As a teaser released by the company has Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who endorsed Samsung's Galaxy J line last year.
However, there is confusion regarding the exact J-series model that the company will be announcing. According to speculations, the new device is likely to be the Galaxy J3 (2016).
As for specifications, Galaxy J3 (2016) sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels, runs on quad-core processor clocking at 1.2GHz, boasts of 8GB/16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card) and 1.5GB RAM. For photos, there's an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP camera in the front.
