Samsung to launch Galaxy C5 smartphone on May 26
NEW DELHI: South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is all set to launch its brand new Galaxy C series of smartphones. The company has sent out media invites for the launch event in China scheduled for May 26.
As per rumours, the company will be likely launching the Galaxy C5 with a unibody metal design. The smartphone is expected to come in gold, silver, pink and gray coloured variants.
Going further by the rumours, Samsung Galaxy C5 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution. The handset will likely be powered by an octa-core
It's plausible that the Galaxy C5 will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on-board and offer dual-sim functionality. As for the cameras, the phone will have a 16MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8MP secondary camera for video calling. Connectivity options of the device are expected to include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There will be a 2,600 mAh battery rounding up the spec sheet.
Samsung's recently launched Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphones are available for as low as Rs 2,989 each, as part of an exchange offer. Both smartphones were launched exclusively on Flipkart last week. While the Galaxy J5 (2016) is originally priced at Rs 13,999, the Galaxy J7 (2016) costs Rs 15,990.
