PayPal ties up with hotel aggregator Oyo Rooms
NEW DELHI: Digital payments company PayPal has announced a tie-up with hotel aggregator Oyo Rooms for international bookings.
After this tie-up, customers can make hotel bookings on Oyo Rooms and make the payment via PayPal. The company will also offer Seller Protection feature to safeguard hotels from unauthorized transactions.
"Growth of new age businesses like Oyo Rooms can be further accelerated if they are protected against online payment risks and frauds. PayPal’s technology protects merchants such as Oyo Rooms against unauthorized transactions and mitigates associated risks." said Hamish Moline of PayPal said.
Oyo Rooms recently forayed into South East Asia. This partnership will enable Oyo Rooms’ customers to pay for their bookings in Southeast Asian countries via PayPal.
