New listing shows 5.5-inch display for Samsung Galaxy A4
A new listing on import/export tracking website Zauba has revealed the screen size of Samsung's upcoming phablet likely to be called Galaxy A4. As per the data on Zauba, Samsung Galaxy A4 will have a 5.5-inch screen. The smartphone is reported to have model no. SM-A430U.
The listing values the smartphone at $355.09.
There are no other details available about the smartphone so far.
The South Korea-based company today also launched 2016 edition of Galaxy J5, J7 smartphones in the country today. Both the smartphones add to its mid-range portfolio. This year's edition of Galaxy J5 and J7 features a metal frame. Both smartphones run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and have plus-5 inch screen.
Samsung continues to lead the Indian smartphone market followed by Micromax, Intex, Lenovo and Lava.
Samsung also leads smartphones and tablet PCs with 35% and 63% marketshare respectively, according to CMR study. Samsung India recently said that 4G phones will drive the smartphone market in the country on the back of increasing data speed. The company is among the top three 4G LTE devices in India.
There are no other details available about the smartphone so far.
