Moto Z, Moto Z Force and Lenovo Phab 2 Pro coming to India this year
NEW DELHI: Lenovo’s Motorola recently announced its flagship Moto Z and Moto Z Force smartphones globally, along with the first ever Google Project Tango-enabled smartphone – the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.
At the time of the launch, the company did not reveal when the devices would be launched in India. However, almost a week after the global launch, Lenovo has finally given a time frame as to when the smartphones will hit Indian shelves.

As per multiple reports, Aymar de Lencquesaing, senior vice president of Lenovo’s mobile business, said that the Moto Z and Moto Z Force will be coming to India in September-October. The smartphones will be launched along with the Moto Mods, showcased at the Lenovo Tech World show.
Lencquesaing added that “We will have a clear value proposition in the premium segment. Mods are different from anything else being offered in the market. Mods will come to India in the September-October timeframe. We think this is a product for which there is a home in the Indian market. There are multiple segments of the market here that would be attracted to, and can afford that feature set.”
Although the prices of the smartphones were not announced, Lencquesaing hinted that the prices of the Moto Mods can range from $50 to $100. He also confirmed that Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be debuting in India in the future as well.
