LeEco to launch Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 smartphones in India on June 8
NEW DELHI: LeEco is all set to launch its latest smartphones - Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2, in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for June 8, where it will be likely launching the devices.
The company claims that these are the world's first smartphones to feature a USB Type-C audio connector, instead of the traditional 3.5mm audio jack. All smartphones flaunt a metal unibody design and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Talking about the specifications, the LeEco Le 2 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 652 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The on-board storage of the device stands at 32GB. It has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C, with a 3,000 mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
The LeEco Le 2 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1,080x1,920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio X25 processor. The handset offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, along with a 21MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP selfie shooter. It houses a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C as connectivity options.
Lastly, the LeEco Le Max 2 features a 5.7-inch QHD display with 1,440x2,560 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with a massive 6GB of RAM, in addition to 64GB of internal storage. The device sports a 21MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It packs a 3,100 mAh battery, with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB Type-C as connectivity options.
