Mindteck
has announced setting up of a subsidiary in the Republic of the Philippines. The new entity will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Mindteck Singapore Pvt Ltd
.
In December last year, the company had announced bagging e-nagarpalika contract worth Rs 200 crore.
On the occasion, Yusuf Lanewala, Mindteck chairman and managing director, said, “Mindteck’s expansion of its Asian footprint is a natural outcome of the tremendous potential we have seen in the region in recent past. We are pleased to have already become a top company of choice with the region’s leading corporates. It is our hope that this local presence will help both deepen and widen our customer base in the years to come.”
Jacob Pillay, regional VP, APAC, added, “We are off to a good start. An existing customer has already engaged us for IT services, and we are also actively involved in introducing our
Smart City and Healthcare solutions to large corporates.”
Mindteck provides solutions in embedded software and enterprise applications space and has clients including several Fortune 50-1,000 companies.
The company has offices in the US, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Netherlands, Germany, Bahrain and India. It also has development centers in the US and Singapore, and two in India (Kolkata and Bangalore).
