HTC Desire 626 gets a price cut in India
NEW DELHI: HTC has announced a price cut of Rs 2,000 for its mid-range smartphone Desire 626. The dual-sim handset, which was launched in February at Rs 14,990, is now available at a price of Rs 11,990. The smartphone is available at the India e-store of the company.
To recall, the HTC Desire 626 sports a 5-inch 720p HD display and runs a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM, support for up to 32GB expandable storage and 2,000 mAh battery.
It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.1 KitKat operating system topped with the Sense UI of the company. Like the other HTC Desire smartphones, this one also comes with dual-front speakers for a better audio experience. The connectivity options of the handset include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Recently, the Taiwanese smartphone maker launched its Desire 630 smartphone in the country at Rs 14,990. The smartphone is available exclusively on the company's India e-store.
Unveiled at MWC earlier this year in Barcelona, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
The on-board storage of the device stands at 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with the company's Sense UI.
It comes in Graphite Grey Remix and Stratus White Remix colour options and features a polycarbonate body with micro-splash paint effect.
