Google Play Store might soon warn you of ads in apps
NEW DELHI: Google has started rolling out a new feature on its Play Store that'll notify users of apps that have ads. The feature appears next to the ‘In-app purchases’ label, below the install option.
The new functionality was first spotted by a Reddit user.
The search giant had asked the developers to state if their apps contained ads through the Play Developer Console, starting this year.

Earlier this year, Google also removed 13 malicious apps from the Play Store. This was done after it was notified by security researcher Chris Dehghanpoor from Lookout that these apps caused unauthorized downloads on the Android devices.
Around the same time, the company also rolled out support for Promo Codes in the Play Store through which, developers could make available promo codes for paid apps and in-app purchases.
