NEW DELHI: Google has reportedly started sending invites to its annual developer conference I/O. Earlier this month, the search giant had opened registrations to Google I/O 2016 scheduled to be held on May 18 to 20th in Mountain View, California. And now reportedly those who had registered are receiving acceptance and denial emails.

As for the fees, it is $900 for developers and $300 for students. This surely appears cheap if one compares it to that of Apple's developer conference, WWDC. The ticket price for the same is $1599. Incidentally, Apple too uses the the same lottery system to distribute WWDC tickets.

Google hosts the I/O conference every year and makes developer-centric announcements, such as details about the next version of Android, Chrome OS and more recently Android Wear and platforms like
