Google doodle marks beginning of ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2016
NEW DELHI: The search engine giant Google has created a doodle on its homepage dedicated to the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup, 2016. The tournament will kick start from March 8 and will end on April 3. The event will be played across 7 venues in India with 16 teams participating in it.

The Google doodle shows a cricket stadium jam packed with spectators while the two teams are playing the match. The crowd is seen supporting both the teams and there is also a ‘Google’ banner cheering the audience. After clicking on the doodle the user is directed to a new page consisting of the entire schedule of the upcoming matches.

The first match will be played between Zimbabwe and Hong Kong at 3p.m followed by Scotland and Afghanistan at 7.30 p.m. Both the matches will be played in Nagpur. However, the Cricket lovers will witness epic encounter between India and Pakistan on March 19 in Dharmsahala.
