Dhoni has been his usual quick and safe self behind the stumps but some of the gambles have not paid off. Some of his choices, especially playing Piyush Chawla and giving Ashish Nehra the last over against South Africa, have come in for serious stick. Promoting Yusuf Pathan also hasn't paid off. With the bat, has been decent but no match-turning contributions yet. India's fate hinges on his out-of-the-box strategic moves. Needs to handle Batting Powerplays better too.
