Suzanne comes from Detmold in Germany. Her mother Monika and father Michael, live in Lindau, Germany. When she was 16, she did a three-year acting course. he studied acting under Heidelotte Diehl in Berlin, Germany and is a trained Ballet Dancer.

She moved to Mumbai in 2005. This Hindi, Marathi and Bengali speaking actress first came to notice in India in the role of a foreigner bahu 'Doris Bajaj' in Balaji Telefilms’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Suzanne has worked in an array of television series (including Bengali and Marathi) and Bollywood films.

Being an excellent dancer, Suzanne also became the first foreign actress to participate and reach the semi-finals in a celebrity dance reality show in Maharashtra, ‘Dholkichya Talavar’ (2011-2012). She is also the first foreign actress to feature in more than 14 popular television shows in one of the major roles in Hindi and Marathi. Suzanne was also the first actress to ever have portrayed Indian politician Sonia Gandhi on screen in APB News Political Drama.

Suzanne is married to Indian actor/director Akhil Mishra since 2009. The duo tied the knot in a civil court on February 3, 2009. They married again in a traditional way on September 30, 2011.
