The OPPO F1 is tailored for selfie supremacy, with excellent purposely-built software and hardware.It features an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture lens and a 1/4-inch sensor, allowing for 44% more light to enter the camera than an f/2.4 aperture lens, and resulting in shots that are 30% clearer than ones taken with an ordinary 5MP camera. The F1 also offers OPPO's Beautify 3.0 feature, which ensures stunning selfies in all conditions. Beautify 3.0 removes blemishes, highlights a subject's features and includes 3 different beautify modes along with 8 filters.
Meanwhile, to make snapping selfies in low-light conditions a seamless experience, F1 users can turn on the patented Screen Flash feature to ensure natural-looking shots. With Screen Flash, the users get a bright, clear and natural picture. In addition, the OPPO F1 can capture selfies using hand gestures and spoken commands. By opening a palm in front of the camera or simply by saying "Cheese!" users can activate an automatic selfie with an adjustable countdown.
Snappy performance is one of the key features in the F1's outstanding selfie experience. The F1 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 series Octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM, which can be expanded upto 128GB, providing abundant space for photo storage and ensuring multitasking fluency. The camera is backed by OPPO's own Pure Image 2.0+ photography platform, offering a huge range of filters and plug-ins for everyone from the aspiring photographer to the meme-making savant. After close to 40 polishing procedures, the designers were able to make good on their vision of giving the F1 a texture like "silk metal".
