The Bloodline Reigns Supreme as Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa Retain Tag Titles on SmackDown

The Bloodline put their tag team titles on the line tonight in a triple threat ladder match against DIY and The Street Profits. Now, The Bloodline has shown up to grief both DIY and The Street Profits in the past. So, the Tag Team Champions, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were outnumbered the moment they set foot in the ring.

Instead of competing against each other for the belt, DIY and The Street Profits teamed up and started to attack Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. The champs went through a world of pain and were put through both a normal table and the announcer’s table. However, after Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were too weak to retaliate, DIY and The Street Profits turned on each other.

Both teams rushed to the ladder to try and get the Tag Team titles. However, they didn’t count on Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to recover, and that is exactly what happened. The Bloodline members quickly rose to their feet and took advantage of their tired opponents to grab and successfully retain their titles. With the Tag Team Championship still in the Bloodline’s hands, what can we expect from them at Bad Blood 2024?

What role will Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa play at Bad Blood 2024?

While Solo Sikoa and his personal enforcer, Jacob Fatu will be fighting Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes inside the ring, we can expect the Tag Team champs, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to be lurking ringside. If Solo and Fatu begin to have a difficult time against their opponents, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Tag Team Champs jump in to lend a hand.

For months now, we have seen The Bloodline completely disregard the consequences of interfering in matches. They do it so often that it has now become common practice to expect an interference whenever the Bloodline is involved. So, regardless of whether they end up being useful or not, we can definitely expect Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to be lurking about for Bad Blood 2024’s main event.
