WWE Raw (9/2): Rhea Ripley challenges Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship match

The Bash in Berlin has concluded, and now the superstars are focusing on upcoming championship matches and new rivalries. While every match in Berlin was impressive, the Mixed Gender Tag Team Match featuring Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio against Liv Morgan stole the spotlight. The feud among these wrestlers is far from over, with Rhea Ripley recently challenging Morgan for the Women's World Title. On the latest episode of Raw, Ripley made her challenge, and Dominik Mysterio responded to the call for a championship rematch.

Rhea Ripley challenges Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Title match

Rhea Ripley kicks off Monday Night Raw by greeting the fans and expressing how good it feels to say that again. She adds that it's even better knowing she and Damian Priest took out Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at Bash In Berlin, proudly noting that she was the one who pinned Morgan. Ripley makes it clear she's targeting the Women's World Championship and calls Morgan down to the ring.

Dominik Mysterio's music hits, and he appears with a black eye. Ripley tells Dominik to fetch his girlfriend, but Dominik explains that Morgan is still recovering from Ripley’s attack on Saturday. He accuses Ripley and Priest of exploiting their jet lag and lack of sleep, and agrees to a rematch for the Women's World Championship. He also points out that Morgan has defeated Ripley before and will do it again. Ripley calls Dominik foolish and challenges Morgan to face her anytime and anywhere she chooses.

Morgan suddenly appears, trying to ambush Ripley, but Ripley anticipates the attack and counters with a back elbow. As Dominik exits the ring, Ripley attempts to drag Morgan back in. However, Ripley gets caught in the middle rope, allowing Morgan to beat her down while Dominik watches with amusement.


The upcoming PPV, Bad Blood, is set for Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. There's a strong possibility that the WWE Women's World Championship match might take place inside Hell in a Cell. Several sources indicate that the event could feature two Hell in a Cell matches: one between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, and the other for the Women's World Championship between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. If this happens, it will be intriguing to see how Morgan handles the challenge of facing Rhea Ripley on her own.
