WWE NXT have been hard at work as they try and get things in order for the show’s move to the CW Network. From the start, NXT have been heavily advertising and setting up exciting matches and segments for their first two shows on the CW Network. The first show is set to take place in Chicago and will feature WWE superstar, CM Punk.

However, things have not gone according to plan for their second show. Originally, NXT’s second show on NXT was supposed to go live from The Enterprise Center from St. Louis, Missouri. While WWE has had no trouble selling out this venue for their main shows, unfortunately, the same can’t be said for NXT.

It is being reported by various sources that NXT have now shifted their venue from The Enterprise Center to The Factory after failing to sell their desired amount of tickets. The Enterprise Center can seat 18,000 people, while The Factory only has a capacity of about 3,000 people. Let’s take a look at what this means for the show.

NXT 10/8 to air from new venue following poor ticket sales

Despite having Randy Orton not just as a guest but as an in-ring competitor, WWE has failed to sell tickets for their second show on the CW Network. So, from the looks of it, their transition has not been going over as smoothly as we’ve been led to believe over the last few weeks. This can also be attributed to a simple mistake on the team’s part.

A few outlets have claimed that someone on the team got too ambitious about the new show and decided to book an arena meant for NBA or NHL audiences. While this is surely not a good look for NXT, they’ve moved with efficiency to fix this mistake. Moreover, we’ll be in for an entertaining show regardless of how many people are in the crowd.

Randy Orton will be taking on Je’Von Evans while Nathan Frazer and Axiom prepare to defend their Tag Team titles against A-Town Down Under. Seeing main roster talents show out on NXT is almost always more than enough to draw in huge numbers, as is evident from their most recent episode. The new venue should hardly affect the quality on display when NXT heads to St. Louis, Missouri on 10/8.
